July 19, competition for admission to higher education starts at ”Nicolae Testemitanu” University

Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova launches today, July 19, the competition for admission to higher education for the academic year 2021-2022. The educational offer includes the following
- Bachelor Degree study programs (4 years):
• Optometry;
• Nursing;
• Public Health;
• Radiological Technology.
- Integrated study programs:
• Medicine (6 years);
• Dentistry (5 years);
• Pharmacy (5 years).
- Master’s Degree programs (2 years):
• Molecular Technologies in Health (Master of Science degree);
• Public Health Management.
This year, the Admission Plan funded from the state budget envisages 455 places, including 25 places for graduates of educational institutions from the left bank of the Dniester river.
The admission plan also provides for 430 places on contract basis: Medicine – 200 places, Dentistry – 90, Pharmacy – 80, Public Health – 15, Optometry – 15, Nursing – 20, Radiological Technology – 10 places. Tuition fees have not been increased: Medicine – 30,100 lei, Dentistry – 33,100 lei, Pharmacy – 30,500 lei, Public Health – 19,300 lei, Optometry – 32,200 lei, Nursing – 19,300 lei, Radiological Technology – 32,200 lei. For higher master's studies in public health management, 20 places are offered on a contract basis, the tuition fee constituting 16,500 lei.
At the first stage of the admission contest – July 19-30, candidates shall register online and shall upload the contest files onto the e-admission.usmf.md platform. Applicants have the right to enroll in three study programs at the same time, but if they are admitted, they will be enrolled in only one of the chosen study programs.
Intermediate results of the contest will be announced on August 3, on the website https://admitere.usmf.md/. Applicants who will be on the lists shall submit the original documents between August 4-10. This process will be organized according to a set schedule, to ensure compliance with COVID-19 prevention measures.
Only candidates who have submitted the original documents can participate in the final competition. Thus, applicants who have failed at the intermediate admission contest, but want to participate in the final competition, must submit their documents within the established deadlines. The final results will be announced on August 12, on the University's website. If some places remain unfilled, the second round of admission will be organized.
